Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Naja mobile application ("App") or visiting our website at najalog.com ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

2. Description of Service

Naja is a daily reflection and journaling application that allows you to create customizable reflection templates, complete entries on a recurring schedule, and review your history. The App is designed for personal use and is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Naja. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Account Registration

To use the App you must create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Naja offers a 90-day free trial. At the end of the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription: $1 per month or $10 per year.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription rate.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. Naja does not process refunds directly.

After a subscription lapses, you will have a 14-day grace period with full access. After the grace period, the App enters read-only mode — you can view past entries but cannot create new ones until you resubscribe.

6. User Content and Ownership

Your journal entries, templates, and all content you create in Naja belong to you. We do not claim any ownership or license over your content. We do not use your content for advertising, analytics, model training, or any purpose other than providing and maintaining the service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to store or transmit content that is unlawful, or to attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the service or its underlying infrastructure.

8. Intellectual Property

The Naja name, logo, design, and all related intellectual property are owned by Naja. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App or Site except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

9. Privacy

Your use of Naja is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Site are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Naja does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naja shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

12. Account Termination and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon deletion, all of your data — including journal entries, templates, and account information — will be permanently removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Apple App Store Terms

  • These Terms are between you and Naja, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • The license granted to you is limited to a non-transferable right to use the App on Apple-branded products running iOS.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  • In the event of any failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App or your use of it, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
